"My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there."
Every once in awhile I will stumble across someone who seems to emanate a heart full of adventure and happiness. I am drawn to these people like magnets- something tugs at my heart strings and tells me to reach out to them and see if they are up for an afternoon of photos.
Hannah was one of those people.
Hannah made me so happy by making the time to let me photograph her while we are both back in these mountains. Hannah and I went to the same high school, though she graduated two years earlier than me. I have always had this huge girl crush on her and admired her adventures, so it was a lot of fun to spend some time hearing about her life in person. She is almost too good to be true- a natural beauty with a good heart full of ambition. She just got back from spending a few months hiking and pursuing an internship in Colorado and I am pretty convinced that she is an adventure novel come to life. So many of the things she spoke of reminded me that life is too short to make excuses- you have to seize every opportunity you get to take on new experiences.
Sincerely, Hannah had me laughing so much. She was a joy to be around and is beyond funny. Hannah fit in so well with the woods and made everything feel rich and genuine. After all- you know you are doing something right when you leave a mountain with thorns in your socks, right?
Hannah radiates happiness and I am so inspired to work on more shoots that make me as excited as this one did.
Thanks a million, Hannah. I am so excited to watch your adventurous life grow and grow and grow.
